Xarelto (Rivaroxaban)Rivaroxaban (trade names include Xarelto; Ixarola; Rivaro; Runaplax; Xaroban) is an anticoagulant medication (blood thinner) from direct factor Xa inhibitors pharmacological group. The DVT can occur after certain types of surgery. Xarelto is also indicated for people with atrial fibrillation (a heart rhythm disorder) to lower the risk of stroke caused by blood clots.
